Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, or fans, which can cause sooting (black marks on the jar), or rapid, uneven burning.
The first burn is very important. Allow wax to melt completely to the insides of the jar before you put out the candle - this helps to prevent “tunneling”.This should take around 1-3 hours.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and debris, including burnt matches.
Avoid burning any candle more than 3-4 hours at a time. Allow candle to cool before relighting.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Please place the candle on a stable, heat resistant surface before lighting.
Stop using a candle when candle wax is too low in the jar.
